Finding Her-Self with Purpose
Elsie Scott Dunn
Founder
“I was 15, pregnant, and hidden away in a maternity home because of the shame society placed on young mothers. But my grandmother Elsie told me something that changed my life: ‘Mary was a teenage when she had Jesus. One mistake doesn’t define your future.’ Now at 60, I’ve turned my pain into purpose.” My name is Elsie Scott Dunn, founder of The Edify House, the only CSEC maternity home in Georgia specifically for pregnant teenager girls who are survivors of sex trafficking. These girls aren’t just “at risk” -they’ve already been hurt, exploited, abandoned and somebody daughter.

You can learn about us and help us bring the awareness by educating schools, churches, and communities about the reality of modern-day slavey. This is a billion-dollar underground business, and our girls are the ones who pay the price-with their bodies and futures. But together, we can fight back
