"It Takes a Village": As a mother, community leader, and author of Innocence Lost (Life as a Teenage Mother); Edify Teens Ministries Inc. (ETM) was created by the founder, Elsie Scott Dunn, a teenage mother. She was born and raised in uptown New Orleans, Louisiana, and moved to Georgia 32 years ago. Elsie overcame many obstacles as a teen mom and aspired to help other young mothers do the same.

​

A native of New Orleans, Louisiana; Elsie attended Delgado College where she majored in television production and received her diploma from Hollywood Film School at Georgia State in Atlanta Georgia. Elsie has worked at various production companies and on the videos of some recording artists such as Outkast. Elsie was also the owner of Dunn Right Cleaning a construction cleaning company and has worked with some of the greatest construction companies in Georgia, the City of Atlanta and Hartsfield–Jackson Airport.
